Okay, so today in Language Arts class, Mr. Gallo asked us if we could think of any other characters from books or movies that remind us of the character Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Immediately my hand and Sarene's hand goes up and we look at each other both knowing what character we are thinking of, Rosalie Hale, from the Twilight saga. Now that was just a quick reaction but when you think about it Rosalie is self centered, but she has a reason for being obnoxious towards Bella (I won't explain it because if you haven't read Eclipse yet this would spoil it). Bottom on the other hand has no reasoning or none that we know of to be obnoxious towards everyone. This is just what I think, but what do you think, are Bottom and Rosalie alike or not alike, do they have some similar character traits?
I think that Rosalie was like Bottom when she was human. She was a little celf-centered but that was just because she was really pretty and stuff. Botttom is just obnoxious and he really has no reason. Over all i like rosalie much better.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I mean I think Rosalie is self-centered but also not as much as Bottom, but Bottom doesn't realize that he's just really annoying, and Rosalie is actually jealous of Bella and knows how her actions affect the rest of the Cullens and others around her
